Datamax is poised to revolutionize the thermal printing industry again with the M-Class printer line. The M-Class offers users a durable, technologically advanced thermal printer with the design principles that have proven successful in other Datamax printers, in a smaller footprint for use in emerging market applications. The M-Class consists of the M-4206, en entry-level industrial printer for value-conscious customers, and the M-4208 and M-4306, high performance models with LCD display and expanded option sets. Thermal printing is expanding to more vertical market and industry applications, and Datamax is maintaining a leadership position in printer design and performance with the M-Class. The M-Class is built on a uni-frame, die-cast aluminum chassis, increasing the printer’s durability thought a lifetime of high performance output. The truly modular design of the M-4206, unique to Datamax printers, allows options to be installed and removed in the field. Datamax printers offer versatility that is unparalleled in the thermal printing industry. Datamax builds products that provide value and cost savings to users, and the M-Class continues this legacy. While
a printer’s design and construction is key to its durability, the ability to
interface with an existing or new system is what enables truly seamless
integration into any application. Standard
connectivity interfaces for the M-Class include RS-232 serial port, an IEEE 1284
compliant bi-directional parallel port, and a USB port.
Network users have many options, including a fully integrated, highly
functional internal Ethernet card, or a more economical external Ethernet port.
